2nd Com - Worship God's Way & No Images of Christ - WLC #107-110
The 2nd Commandment regulates our worship of God. The Westminster Larger Catechism's (#107-109) explanation of this commandment is one of the most controversial, particularly around making images of Christ. Topics discussed are the Regulative Principle of Worship, why it matters to God, and why Images of Christ are not allowed in the PCA.
One of the main reasons that convinced me to switch from being a long time Baptist to joining Meadowview Reformed Presbyterian Church is the way the worship service is carried out with much reverence. It is a good feeling when you walk out of church after Sunday morning worship service knowing that you were in a place where you feel God, s presence.
We should come humbly before God.
